COVID-19 cases on the rise

COVID-19 cases increased significantly over the past two weeks in Pike, rising to 55 for the past two weeks up from 42 for the previous two week period.

There have been a total of 520 cases since March with 12 deaths in Pike according to the Georgia Department of Public Health. Pike has a higher rate of testing than surrounding counties with 10% of the 18,860 population being tested since March.
