Pike County High School had 10 wrestling athletes advance to the Traditional State. The Pike team had the most to qualify in the AAA division at the Traditional Sectionals meet.
Gage Lee placed first placed at sectionals. Ayden Stanley earned second. Owen Hammett, Luke Woerner, Jakilen King and Jack Barron earned third place. Rylee Gordon placed fourth. Luke Moon placed fifth. Jordan Thompson and Jack Bell both placed sixth.
The students will start state competition Friday at 8 a.m. with finals on Saturday after a 9 a.m. start. A complete Traditional Wrestling Schedule is posted on the GHSA website.
