A Spalding County candidate who ran second in her primary race Tuesday and qualified for the August 21 runoff has stepped aside to save taxpayers the cost of running the runoff election.Bill Taylor of WKEU in Griffin reports Kay Landrum Norris conceded the race for Spalding County probate court judge to opponent and primary leader Jan Hunt.Hunt took 47.48% of the primary vote while Norris took 27.94%. There were two other candidates in the race.
