American Doll raffle benefits Toys for Tots

The ladies at Cindy’s Florist will raffle off an American Girl doll this Christmas season to benefit Toys for Tots. Last year, they donated thousands of dollars worth of toys, including 11 bicycles, several skateboards and hundreds of other toys such as dolls, puzzles, tents and other toys. The winner of the American Doll raffle will get to choose between American Girl dolls Marie-Grace or Cecile. The dolls have never been opened and include accessories and a book about each girl. Raffle tickets are $5 each and the average cost of the Marie-Grace or Cecile doll is well over $100.’These are two of the first American Girl dolls that came out,’ said Robbin Ray. ‘We had this idea to bring people in and get them involved with Toys for Tots. The raffle will help us raise funds to help buy more toys.’New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at Cindy’s Florist during regular office hours through the second week in December. The American Girl raffle will end just before pickup so the proceeds from the raffle can purchase more items for Toys for Tots.
