Pike added another COVID death, making the total 74 deaths, 190 hospitalizations and 25 probable deaths since the pandemic started, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
There were 51 confirmed cases in Pike over the past two weeks, up from 49 for the previous two weeks. The numbers of cases are elevated across the state, including neighboring counties Upson where there were 142 confirmed cases and Meriwether where there were 87 cases over the past two weeks.
There are 6,932 citizens in Pike who are fully vaccinated, at 38 percent of the population.
