Author to discuss locally-grown foods

The independently owned bookstore recently received her unique cookbook hot off the presses from the publisher.’We were one of the first businesses to get her books,’ said Chris Curry of A Novel Experience. ‘They put a rush on it to get it here in time for her book signing.’Castle will speak at the Concord Garden Club’s annual Lunch and Learn April 14 at 11:30 a.m. at the Strickland Store. Community members can bring a sandwich and enjoy a fresh locally grown snack made by Castle. She will discuss how to cook locally grown foods with unique recipes from her book.
