The Pike County graduate’s baccalaureate program will be May 18, 6 p.m. at Griffin First Baptist Church. Pike County High School will no longer sponsor the baccalaureate program but Prayer Power of Georgia has committed to providing Pike graduates with the program this year and for years to come.’We at Prayer Power know the baccalaureate program is an important part of the high school experience and we’ll do everything we can to make the program an inspirational and motivational event for all those who attend,’ said founder Ben Maxedon. ‘We’re finalizing the plans for the program. When the details have all been worked out we’ll provide more information but for now we ask that all Pike graduates plan to attend with their cap and gown.’The community program is for all graduates. Several youth pastors and pastors in the county will help Prayer Power plan and present the event. To be involved, contact Prayer Power at prayerpower4u@bellsouth.net or 770-689-7549.
