The 2015 Baccalaureate service and celebration for Pike County graduates will be held Sunday, May 17 at 5 p.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church off Highway 362 in Williamson. ’We have a beautiful venue at Oak Hill Baptist Church. We will have a great speaker – pastor Marc Pritchett from R.U.S.H ministries – to deliver the message and we will have a wonderful worship band from R.U.S.H. ministries to lead our worship,’ said Prayer Power of Georgia founder Ben Maxedon. ‘All Pike County High School graduates are invited. Bring your family and friends to share this special event. Don’t forget to wear your cap and gown. Be prepared for plenty of pictures and to have fun at the celebration after the service.’The event is hosted by Prayer Power of Georgia and is for all 2015 graduates, family members and friends. To learn more about the 2015 Baccalaureate, to see updates or post photos online, find the Pike Baccalaureate 2015 Facebook page. ’This is for all students. There are around 211 graduates and this service is for all of them, whether they go to church or not,’ said Maxedon. ‘We feel like this will be a great start to commencement week and we believe it will kind of set the tone and give the students a spiritual sendoff for graduation week. It will give them encouragement not only for now but also be a message they can carry with them through their life as they go on to college and their careers. We look forward to all graduates being there and we look forward to having a great service that will be spiritually encouraging for not only the graduates but also for everyone else in attendance.’
