The Pike County Navigator Team is hosting a back-to-school party Saturday, Aug. 24 at Christ Chapel from 12 noon to 2 p.m. for special-needs students and their families. ”We will have games, music and an ice cream bar,” said organizer April Cobb. “We will be playing corn hole, ladder ball and relay-style games. Also, we will be finding out all the fun activities planned for the up coming year such as riding in the Concord Jubilee parade, a sensory fall festival, parent workshops, and of course our fashion show.”
