Big plays, special teams doom the Pike Pirates

Heavy fog rolled in along with the Lamar County Tro-jans for a 45-27 win over the Pirates. The loss put the Pi-rates at 3-6 for the year. They travel to Callaway next week to face the region leaders.The Pirates took the kickoff and started at their 24 yard line. They scored first on a 25 yard pass from Kody Adams to Jay Collier for a 7-0 lead after an Andrew Chau PAT. The touchdown was set up by a 69 yard pass reception by Jas Wilson.
