Edwards Senior Center in Zebulon.’Blood donations are needed all year long but especially during the summer months,’ said Don Collins. ‘We’ve added another cot so everyone should be able to get in and out quickly.’ To schedule an appointment, prospective donors can call 1-800-733-2767. Donors will be provided with juice and refreshments after their donation. The American Red Cross is hoping to have around 40 donors to donate at the Aug. 5 blood drive.
