Boil water in Zebulon March 15

The Zebulon water department will conduct a water main upgrade after midnight on March 15. The pipe to be replaced is a six-inch main that crosses a creek near Mr. Bs and has become exposed, causing it to deteriorate. Zebulon residents’ water will be off for a few hours and should be restored before the morning hours of Saturday, March 16. Citizens are asked to boil their water after the repair until further notice. Citizens will need to let the services run for a few minutes to remove any air in the lines. Samples will be taken before the system is brought back online and the boil notice will be rescinded.
