Budget hearings set for May 6, 13

The Pike County Board of Commissioners were presented with the proposed Fiscal Year 2015-2016 budget April 8. A public hearing will be held May 6 at 1 p.m. The public is invited to participate.A public hearing will also be held before the first reading on May 13, at 1 p.m. The second reading will be May 19 at 6:30 p.m. and the final adoption of the budget is set for May 26 at 5:30 p.m.Copies of the proposed budget are at the J. Joel Edwards Public Library and the commissioner’s office.
