Building a home for Daniel

Daniel McNair of Molena is a 7-year-old boy who loves Toy Story and swimming. Unlike other kids his age, he is unable to walk, dress or feed himself because he has had muscular dystrophy since birth. His family is trying to build a home that fits his needs and allows him to move more freely from room to room. They were recently set back by the theft of their tools and supplies and building has come to a standstill. Not only has the theft of about $2,000 in tools set the family back, but illness and their father losing his job has stopped funds to pay for materials. Daniel got pneumonia and spent two months in the hospital but always kept his favorite Toy Story characters with him. The family is hoping donations of tools or funds will help them get back to building so they can move in the house soon. Donations can be made directly to the McNair family through a special fund set up at United Bank. Checks can be made to Daniel McNair and deposited there or account holders can transfer funds into the account. Donations of tools or materials can be made at Quest Community Church.
