Churches across the county will have special Christmas services this week, including a Christmas Eve Service at 5 p.m. at Concord Methodist Church where the annual, candle lit service with traditional Christmas music will honor the story of Jesus’ birth.
Zebulon United Methodist Church will also host a Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 24 and all are welcome to attend at 212 Griffin Street in Zebulon.
Christ Chapel Community Church will have a special Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Dec. 24 and the same service Christmas Day at 10:30 a.m.
The Williamson Library will host Santa Claus and the Grinch at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 for special photo opportunities.
Don’t forget to visit the Shoemake’s Epic Christmas Lights display at 140 Beeks Road in Williamson before the Christmas season comes to a close. The light show starts each Thanksgiving and runs from 6 to 10 p.m. each weeknight and until midnight on Saturdays until the New Year.
