Century-old home burns in Concord

At around 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, Pike County Emergency Services and Mid Ga Ambulance were called to a structure fire at the residence of Sheron and Wanda Woods at 960 Hill St. in Concord. Sheron Woods was home at the time and unable to make it out of the home without assistance. A neighbor said the home was built circa 1900 by a member of the Strickland family. No injuries have been reported and the home is likely a total loss.
