Pike County resident Nathan Rounds went to the Pike County board of equalization last week to request a reduction in the assessed value of his home and 7,360 square foot hanger.The board agreed to lower the square foot assessment from $15 to $11.48 for the hanger which has central heat and air and a bathroom. The board also reduced the assessed value of Rounds’ home from $182,250 to $145,530.
