Citizens to Promote Pike to hold bass tourney in April

Citizens to Promote Pike announces the 13th Annual Citizens to Promote Pike Bass Tournament. The tournament will be held at Beaver Lake, a picturesque 50-acre lake tucked away in the woods at Sell’s Farm in northeast Pike County. This tournament offers an enjoyable fishing experience among a challenging field of competitors. Each team will be comprised of one boat (electric or paddle only) and two fishermen. Entry fee is $150 per team with an optional Calcutta tournament. Day one will be on Saturday, April. 14. Day two will be on Sunday, April 15. The Secret Lake Fish-Off for the top three fishermen from days one and two will be held Saturday, April 21. A schedule and rules will be supplied upon registration. There are a number of business sponsors and CTPP appreciates their participation which allows them to offer prizes, including $500 for first place, $350 for second place and $175 for third place. A barbecue lunch will also be provided. All proceeds go to fund the Citizens to Promote Pike Scholarships.
