The victim’s wife, who told authorities she was assaulted in the same attack in which her husband was killed, is being shielded from the media by her father, Pike County commission chairman Doug Mangham. Meanwhile, Pike sheriff’s investigator David Neal reported no suspects have beed identified other than the two men in the original lookout for a late 90s model Pontiac TransAm. The Journal-Reporter has made repeated efforts to contact Teresa Burousas and her father since her release from the hospital. Chairman Mangham briefly took a call Monday and was asked if his daughter could be interviewed. ’I don’t let anyone talk to her,’ Mangham said. When asked if he wanted to make a comment of his own, Mangham politely declined.
