The Concord Country Jubilee will fill the streets downtown with music, vendors, fellowship and fun Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18-19.
“For many, especially our team and our vendors, the Jubilee is like a good family reunion,” said Concord city clerk Anita Neath. “There will be lots of food, plenty of fun and loads of fellowship. The Jubilee family will forever miss one of our longtime vendors, Steve McCrary.”
On the opening day of the Jubilee on Saturday, Oct. 18, there will be live entertainment at the city park pavilion from 11:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. The parade will travel through town at 2 p.m. Saturday and parade applications can be completed online at CityOfConcordGa.gov.
On Sunday, Oct. 19 the Jubilee will start with a morning worship service at 9 a.m. in the city park pavilion, led by Paul Leslie and Ric Calhoun. At 2 p.m. there will be a Jazzercise demo led by Tina Bannister.
There will be plenty of vendors, entertainment and food on both days of the Jubilee.
This year’s Jubilee vendor application process went live Aug. 1 on the city’s website (CityOfConcordGa.gov) and by the first week in September, all available spaces were full.
“The online application was new this year and worked very well. We are grateful to Jamie Bramlett and her team at BramJam Digital Design Services for making this possible with a smooth transition,” said Neath. “Vendor setup will be Friday afternoon after 4 p.m. Jubilee team members will be onsite to guide vendors to their spaces.”
