The Pike County commission has scheduled a special called meeting for Friday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. Chairman Briar Johnson reports he hopes a sole finalist for the county manager position will be named at the meeting. That would begin the 14-day vetting period, in which citizens or others can voice concerns.
The meeting will be held at the Pike EMA storage facility at 132 Twin Oaks Rd. in Williamson.
