County manager interviews for Florida job

Pike County Manager Steve Marro will interview for a city manager job in DeBary, Fla., later this month according to The News-Journal of Daytona Beach, Fla. The DeBary council chose Marro and four other candidates for the job from more than 80 applicants and submitted their top choices based on a point system.Marro received the highest point total and will be interviewed along with the other four finalists on Jan. 27. DeBary is a city in Volusia County, Fla., and is considered a residential and retirement community of approximately 16,500 residents.Pike’s new county clerk, Teresa Watson, started work Monday, Jan. 4.
