Couple charged with rape, false imprisonment

A husband and wife at 15734 Concord Street were arrested by Zebulon Police officers July 20 and charged with a total of nine felonies and two misdemeanors, including rape, false imprisonment, aggravated sexual battery and sodomy. Stephen Lee Johnson, 63, and Susan G. Johnson, 57, were arrested and video and photography equipment was confiscated from their home. The case, which is still under investigation, was reported by a 19-year-old college student who was evicted from her home in Griffin and was told she could live at the home for free. They demanded that she call them ‘˜Master’ and ‘˜Mistress’ and submit to them while living in their house. She said she was raped by Stephen Johnson while Susan Johnson filmed and took photographs of the incidents. She has now relocated to another county. During the investigation, contracts with other young females were located at the property and it is believed the couple has taken advantage of other teens in the same way. Steven Johnson faces felony charges of rape, false imprisonment, aggravated sexual battery, sodomy, obstruction of an officer and misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than an ounce. Susan Johnson faces felony charges of party to the crime of rape, party to the crime of false imprisonment, party to the crime of aggravated sexual battery, party to the crime of sodomy and misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
