Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday, could it be the last?

Be sure to set your clocks back an hour Saturday before bed as Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday, Nov. 6.

It could be the last time we have to turn clocks back in the fall as Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed a bill which stated that Georgia would observe daylight saving time all year once Congress authorizes states to do so. The federal bill called Sunshine Protection Act would allow the time change to end but is pending approval by the House and then the president’s signature.

Political pundits say the legislation has been delayed due to disagreements over the bill’s language and “a general consensus that other matters take precedence,” according to The Hill’s Mychael Schnell.
