Pike County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators served a search warrant at 346 Ellis Circle in Williamson on Thursday, May 23, that resulted in the seizure of a marijuana growing operation. Evidence obtained from the residence showed John Hutchison, 40, and Colleen Swartsenburg, 54, had been cultivating marijuana in an indoor grow room. Several pounds of marijuana were allegedly hidden in the basement with numerous firearms near the grow location.Swartsenburg also had reported methamphetamine and additional marijuana in her vehicle. She was arrested and taken to Pike County Jail while warrants have been issued for Hutchison. He was not at home during the search and has not been seen since the seizure of drugs from his residence.About $6,000 in cash, 10 firearms and a vehicle were seized during the search warrant.The pair face charges including manufacture of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime and possession of meth.
