Election results final, Molena to keep PD

Polls were open until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3 for municipal elections and the countywide school’s Capital Improvements Bond Referendum. Unofficial jurisdiction wide results on the school system’s Capital Improvements Bond Referendum were 60% in favor and 40% opposed with 743 yes votes and 498 no votes. Molena voted to keep its police department with 53 in favor of keeping it and 24 opposing the MPD.
