Citizens and business owners can find out how to prepare for storms and how to avoid fraud afterwards at the April 22 Good To Know series event hosted by the Pike County Chamber of Commerce.

Good To Know event to be held April 22

The Pike Chamber of Commerce will host another in their ‘Good To Know’ series to teach citizens and business owners how to protect themselves from storms and also from fraud after the storms strike. The event will be held at noon Friday, April 22 at Barnstormer’s Grill at 349 Jonathan’s Roost Road in Williamson. 

“Representatives from the office of the Commissioner of Insurance and Safety will speak on how citizens should prepare for a severe weather event and how to avoid fraud should a storm strike,” said Meredith Maddox. 

Limited seating is available for the lunch and learn event so RSVP to the Pike Chamber at 770-584-5638. It’s the second lecture in the Good To Know series and lunch is $15 per person.
