Authorities in Spalding and surrounding counties are looking for a black male in connection with an early morning attempted sexual assault at a residence on Rivers Road outside Griffin.Press release from Captain Tony Ranieri of the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office:Sheriff Stewart is asking for the assistance from the public with the identification of the man shown in the forensic drawing. According to Stewart, investigators are looking into the early morning attempted rape of a female in the Rivers Road area located off of Rover Zettella Road. Stewart said the suspect entered the residence and attempted to rape the female homeowner. The victim and the suspect fought with the suspect fleeing the residence.With the assistance of a GBI Forensic Artist the victim provided a description of the sexual predator and now investigators need your help to identify him and get him in custody said Stewart.Anyone with any information are asked to contact the Criminal Investigative Division @ 770-227-9406 ext 229, you can remain anonymous said Stewart.
