with 1,122 ballots cast. There were 197 Pike citizens who voted on the last day of early voting. In surrounding counties, Lamar had 460, Meriwether had 267, Upson had 2,462 and Spalding had 3,100 early voters. In Pike, Second District had the most voters cast their ballots early at 206, with Zebulon the precinct with the second most early voters at 194. ’Voters need to pay attention in case there’s a runoff,’ said registrar Sandi Chamblin. ‘If necessary, it will be held Tuesday, July 26, with 15 days of early voting.’
