Just Because United packs 255 bookbags for students

Just Because United gathered supplies and bookbags for 255 area students this school year. The bags were delivered to Pike County schools for students in need and to some students outside the county.

“Thank you so much to all for the donations and prayers,” said Stacy Berry. “We have such a generous community!”

This is the fourth year Just Because United has provided local students with backpacks filled with school supplies.

JBU will be working on their fourth annual Christmas Program, Operation PC.

“If you would like to help, we will be collecting toys and hygiene products Nov. 1 through Dec. 9,” said Berry.
