Lady Pirates place second in state

The Lady Pirates placed second in the Elite 8 tournament in Columbus this weekend. The Lady Pirates defeated Buford 3-2 and will play either Blessed Trinity or Buford Saturday, Oct. 30 in the double elimination tournament. If the Lady Pirates lose their next two games, they will finish the season second in the state.
