The J. Joel Edwards Public Library is now offering state of the art technology to Pike County citizens. The library recently installed and unveiled the Lulzbot 3D printer which will allow citizens to create unique, plastic artwork or specialized tools. The library also has a new ScanPro 2200 which is a microfilm scanner and reader that will allow patrons to see, print and email documents directly from the scanner. ’This new technology provides new opportunities for our patrons,’ said library manager Rosemary Bunn. ‘The new ScanPro microfilm reader will be a great asset for the library, the historical society, the newspaper and all who need it!’
