The J. Joel Edwards library was temporarily closed after changes were made during a special called meeting Friday, June 15. The library was reopened at its regular hours Monday, June 18.A sign posted on the door says, “We request your patience while we reorganize and re-staff your library. We expect to be open limited hours the week of June 18. Summer Reading Club program dates will remain.”Library board of trustees member Peter Potter said the library will be closed for a short while but would hopefully be open by Monday. ”I can tell you briefly that we made some strategic changes,” he said. “The library will be closed for a short while and we will be working diligently to open the library again as soon as possible.”The sign on the door says the next reading program will be held June 20 at 3 p.m.
