Lily Turner of Williamson is off to Chicago July 23-26 for the national Miss Amazing Pageant. “Miss Amazing is a special needs pageant organization created by some amazing women to help special needs girls, teens, young women and women/mentors experience and realize their courage, resilience and dreams of success and personal growth,” Lily’s mom Shannon Turner said.
Back in March, Lily won the Georgia junior miss age group crown at the Georgia Miss Amazing Pageant to qualify.
In Chicago, she will compete in several categories including contestant introduction, evening gown, passion performance/talent and an interview with the judges.
“This is an amazing opportunity for lily. She will learn how to be courageous, resilient; realize her self-worth and experience personal success and achievement,” Shannon added.
The pageant directors use Givebutter to raise funds. The money is allocated for family expenses with any money left over going to perpetuate the pageant. To help Lily visit, givebutter.com/miss-amazing-2026/lilyturner2.
