Molena Bigfoot Fest kicks off Nov. 8

The Molena Bigfoot Festival will stomp into downtown on Nov. 8 with live music, vendors and expert presentations. Discovering Bigfoot: Georgia’s Hidden Legend presentations will be held at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

“We will be featuring vendors with Bigfoot specific items on Bigfoot Lane and we will have live music as well. We will also have karaoke. Animal Adventures will return this year with some incredible creatures for visitors to see – and sometimes touch! There will be lots of kid-friendly activities and a wide variety of vendors as well,” said Molena City Clerk Tina Lee. “One exciting update is a “Bigfoot Lane” to highlight vendors who specifically have Bigfoot related wares.”

The Elkins Creek 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

“We’re disappointed to lose the race this year,” said City Clerk Tina Lee, “but the fest is still going strong – and Bigfoot wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
