Mystery theater to feature historic sites

The Landmark Case Murder Mystery Dinner will be hosted by the Pike County Arts Council Inc. on April 25-27 at several local venues. The murder mystery features local actors and actresses and celebrates five area historic landmarks, including Pike County’s William Thomas Barker Whiskey Bonding Barn, Molena’s Single Room Jail House, the Flint River’s Sprewell Bluff and Meriwether County’s Red Oak Creek Covered Bridge. At the dinner, participants will learn that historians are vying for the $250,000 cash prize courtesy of The Behemoth Trust. Unfortunately, Dr. Jessica Behemoth was found murdered just before dinner. Everyone is a suspect as participants search for clues to determine the culprit. Tickets are available at the different venues and three shows will be performed, including at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25 at Wild Daisy Farm Cafe, 20 Spring Road in Molena, at 7 p.m. Friday, April 26 at The Blackbird Cafe at 18118 Main Street in Woodbury and at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at Barnstormer’s Grill at 349 Jonathans Roost Road in Williamson.
