The National Day of Prayer will be celebrated locally on Thursday, May 5 at noon as prayers are lifted all across the nation. Citizens are asked to gather on the south side of the Pike courthouse square to pray.
Christ Chapel Community Church missions pastor Keith Ford will lead the program as attendees are asked to reflect on the meaning of Colossians 2:6-7 which says, “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”
