The Wednesday Market moved to a new location last week. Not far from its original location, the Wednesday Market is now around the corner on Adams Street past the school bus barn. To see locally grown and crafted goods, go to Wednesdaymarket.locallygrown.net.’Thank you to the super volunteers, Ag Authority board members, Pike County staff and commissioners, and especially, market volunteer Anna Evans who cleaned, painted, organized and dreamed of a bigger space,’ said Ag Authority director Chris Curry. ’Thank you as well to Bill Edwards who so graciously donated his building for the early days of the market as it grew and grew. And, to Trisha and Gene Dabbs who sponsored the grass cutting as it grew and grew. We appreciate all of you who have made this a community treasure.’The Wednesday Market offers a variety of items which are hand-picked or created by local farms, including baked goods, nuts, eggs dairy products, handmade art, natural beauty supplies and potted plants, go to wednesdaymarket.locallygrown.net. Orders must be placed online by Monday at 10 p.m. and the foods can be picked up from 3 to 6 p.m. each Wednesday at the new market location.
