There is no swine flu in Pike County schools, superintendent Dr. Michael Duncan announced late Friday afternoon.The possibility of swine flu in Pike schools was raised Wednesday at a county commission meeting. A letter sent home with students that day explained the general flu deterrent measures undertaken within the school district.On Wednesday the illnesses of two Pike students, both from the same family, were being examined to see if they were afflicted with swine flu. By Friday only one of those children was still being looked at as a possible swine flu case. That student does not have swine flu, Duncan learned late Friday afternoon.
