Paris in Pike, a fundraising fashion show for special needs children in the county, is coming together as students have stepped up to take the stage.Admission for the Jan.21 fashion show at 7 p.m. at Christ Chapel will be $3 for an individual and $6 for a family, with kids five and under free.’The main thing we need now is an audience,’ said organizer April Cobb. ‘All the things for the actual show are coming together nicely. We now need the people of Pike County to come out and support these beautiful children.’Three local fifth grade girls came up with the idea for the fundraiser as a way to highlight children with special needs and raise money for the Pike County Navigator Team. The funds raised will benefit local children. Concessions will be sold at the show.
