The Pike County Fire Department battles two grass and woods fires simultaneously in strong winds Wednesday evening.
One fire was at 722 Pedenville Rd and one was at Highway 19 and Vickery Road which was caused by a tree that fell onto the power line.
Georgia Forestry was on the scene at Pedenville Road and also assisted at Highway 19.
