The Pike County High School Dance Team competed in the Stilwell Dance Invitational at the M.E. Stilwell School of the Arts in Jonesboro, GA on Jan. 7.
The team placed first in the Pom Category for the AAA division. They will travel to McIntosh High School on Feb. 4 to compete in the Hip Hop category and then to the GHSA state competition on Feb. 11 where they will compete in the Pom and Hip Hop categories.
Competition team members include Sidney Barker, Bethany Barner, Ansley Brisendine, Erynn Byrom, Alayna Clark, Morgan Edge, Makenzie Fox, Katie Kersey, Jaylin Milford, Macie Moulder, AJ Peters and Julia Pitts.
