PCMS girls undefeated in first season; host playoffs Monday, March 25

The Pike County Middle School girls’ soccer team went undefeated with all road wins for the season and earned a home playoff game Monday, March 25. This was the inaugural season for the girls soccer team at PCMS and they dominated their competition all season. They scored 68 goals in the season and only allowed five goals by their opponents.

The team hosted Gray Station in their first ever playoff game in Pirate Stadium after the Journal Reporter’s press deadline Monday, March 25. A win would put the girls in the region championship game on Wednesday, March 27 in Pirate Stadium with a start time of 6 p.m. Check for updates.
