Pike Red All-Stars head to World Series

The Pike Red 7-8 All-Star team won the Dixie-Youth Machine Pitch State Tournament recently. The tournament was held in Perry and the Pike Red team defeated Lamar County, Taylor County, Baldwin County and Perry to win the tournament.With the win, Pike Red advances to the Region II World Series in Mulberry, Fl. The team will represent Pike County and Georgia in the opening ceremonies Friday, July 29. The Region II World Series begins Saturday.
