Residents near Bagwell and Reams Roads are encouraged to be alert and on the lookout for a ‘possibly rabid’ raccoon. It was seen near the intersection of Reams Road and Bagwell Road in Molena around 8:44 a.m. this morning, Friday, Oct. 20.The raccoon was acting strangely and the person who reported it said the raccoon was in the middle of the road and would not move. Pike County Animal Control Officer Tanya Perkins drove to and searched the area but could not locate the raccoon.
