The Pike County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the national prescription drug take back day Saturday, April 27. Citizens can come by the Sheriff’s Office between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to drop off old prescription medications to be disposed of properly.Tablets, capsules and all other solid dosage forms of drugs will be collected. Intravenous solutions, injectables, syringes and liquids such as cough syrup will not be accepted.”This service is free to citizens and no questions asked about the prescriptions that are dropped off for disposal,” said Maj. David Neal.
