Publisher Geiger heads home

After 19-days in the hospital, Journal Reporter publisher Walter Geiger is being discharged today from Macon Medical Center.He suffered acute renal failure from massive doses of antibiotics used to treat a staph infection following elective sinus surgery in December.”When he gets back to writing, he’s going to have lots of stories to tell,” said his wife Laura Geiger.
