The inaugural Pike County Parks and Recreation Authority Fall Festival and Movie in the Park will be Friday, Oct. 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will feature Hocus Pocus on the big screen around 7:30 p.m. and plenty of family fun during the day, including food vendors, arts and crafts, kids’ games and crafts, inflatables, the pumpkin carving contest winners and more.
“We are excited to host this event because bringing the community together is what matters most. Family events during the fall season help us all reconnect, unwind and most of all have a ton of fun! Our goal is to create a memorable event that families come to, to create memories at year after year,” said PCPRA recreation assistant Victoria Bryan. “We have spent a lot of time putting together a great evening for families, couples, and people of all ages. We hope to see you there!”
The PCPRA Fall Festival will be held on the lower football field at 135 Twin Oaks Road in Williamson. Interested vendors can email vbryan@pikecoga.com for more information.
Those interested in entering the pumpkin carving contest must submit entries by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the recreation office.
