Shamrock Run set for Saturday

Celebrate Irish Heritage in the Shamrock Run! Around 200 characters are expected to run in Pike County Elementary School’s third annual Shamrock Run March 19.The run will include a 1-mile Leprechaun Lap at 4:30 p.m. for children and adults and a 5K run/walk at 5:00 p.m. Registration forms are available at any of the Pike County Schools and at www.pike.k12.ga.us. All proceeds will benefit technological advancements for the school as well as a book project for our third grade students. The event is affiliated with Run and See Georgia.
