Around 400 people participated in the annual MLK Jr. Day parade on a warm Monday morning. This is the first time in three years the weather has been clear and many from Pike County turned out to watch and march in the largest parade in years.Floats, cars, emergency vehicles, four wheelers and marchers circled the courthouse square in remembrance of Dr. MLK Jr. and his teachings. Children marched in the parade with handmade signs and members of the Boys & Girls Club carried banners to keep the dream alive.
